Workshop
Get-away at Lake Chelan
Chelan
workshop info
Chelan is a small town at the foot of 55-mile-long pristine Lake
Chelan
and the Cascade mountains.
The stillness of the lake during the shoulder season, the warm sunlight
and the
beauty of the mountains add to the feeling of retreat from the usual
hectic
pace of life and help ground the opening of our energy to the shifts
that
happen during the workshop.
Located 200 miles north-east of Seattle, it takes approx. 3 hours to
drive across either Snoqualmie/Blewett Passes(I-90, Hwy. 97) or over
Stevens
Pass (Hwy 2 & 97A) to Wenatchee and north on 97A along the Columbia
River.
Carpooling to the workshop is a good idea for people who would
like to avoid driving. Contact us if you need
a ride.
Chelan during the shoulder seasons offers inexpensive
accommodations.
Clean and simple rooms are available at Mom's Motel, a 15 minute walk to
the workshop, or the Riverwalk
Inn, right by the water and downtown (breakfast available). From
there it's a 7 minute walk to the workshop.
For more upscale accommodations call Campbell's
Resort
(509)682-2561.
For more options or lakeside camping go to www.lakechelan.com
.
Somtimes there are private
accommodations
available
for a donation. First come, first serve.
